We formed New Point Law Firm in 2023 with the idea of creating a modern firm, but firmly grounded in the histories and legacies of two historic law firms — Pasley and Singer Law Firm, formed in 1906, and Newbrough Law Firm, formed in 1935.

New Point Law Firm offers competitive salaries to employees based on merit and qualifications. We offer health care insurance and a retirement plan for qualified employees. Employees have paid holidays, vacation, and sick time.
Associate attorneys will have opportunities to explore multiple areas of law both on their own and with mentoring attorneys. New attorneys are encouraged to build a practice that suits their interests and in which they will be lead counsel. After building experience, successful associates may be asked to join the firm as an equity member.
Legal assistants may work with one or two attorneys. They will work closely with those attorneys and their clients to manage case load, calendars, and production of our work.

New Point Law Firm is located in the City of Ames, Iowa. Ames is near the geographical center of Iowa.
Ames is an economically stable community. It is the home of several large enterprises that help maintain a good economy, including the USDA's Animal Disease Lab, Barilla Pasta, Danfoss, 3M, the Iowa DOT, an office of the US DOT, and (of course) Iowa State University. Ames has a strong downtown and Campustown with lots of shops and restaurants. Ames is about 35 minutes from downtown Des Moines.
The city is generally growing (over 50,000 population with students). Ames lies within two top-rated school districts. There are many cultural and sporting opportunities. It is an excellent place to live and to raise a family.
